I think Petco is a terrible place to go for animals. I went to one Petco and got 3 animals, and they all died within 1 month. I had 2 hamsters and 1 guinea pig. I was so upset because I had gotten so attached to them.
When we went to Petco with the dead guinea pig, they tried to blame my mother and me, saying we were the ones killing their animals.
Overall, if you like your animals and get attached to them easily, I would not suggest getting your animals from Petco. Plus, they do not even care about their animals.
