NEO Time Warner Untruthful and Incompetent - Digital Phone

My wife decided to do something nice for me and reactivate our old Time Warner account, but this time with the extreme internet speed. We specifically stated that we wanted to keep our existing number (which was originally thier number and was ported from them when we left) Last Monday the installer came and after the install (which was sub contracted out and really sloppy, but that's another story for another time) the guy gave us "our new phone number" I became upset at the screwup and told Tme Warner's customer service rep that I wanted my existing number back. I was told "you can use this number until we get it straightened out, it should only take a max of 3 days." I needed to call thier tech support about something unrelated to the phone and as the rep and I were talking, he said "Oh, and I see you are trying to port an old number, something has got it hung up" I'll see if I can help it along. Ok it should be ready to switch tonight (Tuesday) give us a call if you need anything else" Wednesday came still no number change, I called again and was told "Oh I see the problem, It should switch Thursday morning" Still no change, I called Thursday and was told "Oh, Someone forgot to put in a required code" it's fixed now and will switch tomorrow." That brings us to today. (Friday) I called this morning and was told "Oh that is scheduled for Monday". Jeeeezus H Christ! I went balistic, I started cussing at the guy and was hung up on. I called back again and was told that "It's scheduled for Monday but I'm going to try to expedite it so it will switch tomorrow (Saturday) by 10:00am. We'll call you when there is news about it". (Like I'm really expecting that call.) Someone needs to take "ownership" of this and get it resolved and quit lying to your customers. You don't realize how abused I feel and what this is costing me. I can't cut the old service off until this gets resolved, meaning that I'm not only paying you but $65.00 a week for my old service, I have job applications out and can not get a call from them if one calls. Plus the fact that I can not get calls from my family and friends without going through the hassle of calling them with "this number I can use." While I will admit that the tv has a couple channels that I like and the extreme internet is great, I have to say that I don't know if it keeps the same value with all this hassle and the accompanying stress. Simply stated... Time Warner, this is bulls*t... Fix it.
