In November i watched an infomercial on a product called Colon Flow. It said for $9.99 for a 30 day trial period. I called the number and called for it. No time during the automated system did it say a one time fee for $89.60 would be charged after the end of 30 days. It did say that if i wanted a 3 month supply right away it would charge $89.60. I refused and just ordered the trial offer product. I used my ATM debit card to purchase the trial product for 30 days. I got the product in the mail in early December. I never used the product. No where did it say on the invoice that a $89.60 charge would apply. It did say shipping and handling charges would be applied.
I looked on my bank acount information last night and found that a charge from the company Colon Flow, of $89.60 was tacked on to my account. When i talked to the associate today, he was rude, i was a lttle upset and tried to understand and inform him i never heared at any time a $89.60 would apply to my purchase after 30 days. I also had a friend read the invoice for me because the print is small. Too small for a man with low vsion. No where on the invoce was the amount of $89.60. Nor when i go thte package in the mail there wre no other forms accept the invoice and the product. Most places add all paper work and things to do if you are not satisfied. When i informed the assoicate about this, he siad is was my fault and should have listened to the automated system. I did not hear any other charges to be added. He would not help me and said it was my problem. He would nto help me or let me return the product or even get my money refunded to me of $89.60. I immediately called my bank and cancelled my bank card (ATM) that was used for the purchace of colon flow. My bank is looking into this problem as well.
I feel if imfomercials want to sell you something they should put extra paperwork into the package with the product when sending it out. We the consumer listen and understnad everything but if there are hidden fees and extra charges added on after the infomercial says otherwise, it is unfair and missleading to the consumer.
