Uverse/phone nightmare

After a hard sell I switched to a Bundle pak for Uverse phone/TV/internet in late June. I must say I was very happy with Uverse in every way... Until someone dropped the ball and did not push the phone part of the bundle through. (My ATT phone service disconnected my phone number after only 90 days) Not sure why uverse could not push things through in those 90 days. I have now lost the phone number that I have had for 11 years and unless I choose to pay more for new service, with a new phone number, through Att or Uverse, I will no longer have phone service. I have also lost access to my security service that I have also had for 11 years because I no longer have home phone service. I NEVER, NEVER Requested not to have phone service until I was told in order to fix what happened, when they did not "port my phone number though" I will have to pay more for a new service when I never wanted my old service changed. I have also lost my discounted bundle service because I no longer have phone service. I have never cried so hard as I have today over a case of a company who just didn't finish the job in the first place, and because ATT is not one company they have no way to back up and do the job right. I will be writting the FCC, my state rep, BBB, and my local new TV. Someone has to know that when you pay for service you should get what you pay for!
