I miss the old Disney Channel that was aimed at children and didn't have commercials slid in. I can't believe how limited my choices are for a five year old. Disney starts the programming meant for older kids way too early, for example Phineas and Ferb. Also, where have all the classic Disney shows and movies gone? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (original with Annette). Now it seems all the shows are aimed at tweens and teens. Even if my child was in this age
Group I would not let him watch these shows. As a teacher, I see the way attitudes and respect for adults is portrayed to children. When will Disney listen and return to Walt's original vision, which included entertainment for the whole family that parents would not be ashamed to let their kids watch? I guess I will continue to order the real Disney entertainment from Amazon.
