Hi, i'm a 15 year old girl who used to love disney channel when i was younger. Now when i see what they show i am extremly disappointed. Every show is a bad example for younger children. I remember disney channel used to be about teach a lesson or moral and showing kids what's right from wrong. I know they banned profanity, alcohol, and drugs from the channel back in the early 2000s which is understandable. But i remeber on lizzie mcguire if lizze disrespected her parents, she would get in trouble and wouldn't do it again. Many little kids can learn from this. Now on disney if alex from wizards of waverly place disrespects her parents they let her get away with this. Also, they still have miley cyrus on disney channel. I believe she is by far the worst role model for younger kids. She needs to be fired. The shows on disney promote bullying and sex images and more. You need to take a step back and think about your audience. Your audience is 6-12 year olds. They should not be watching what your showing. Now if your audience was 13-18 year olds it be more understandable but a majority of your audience is 6-12 year olds. Many people still love your old shows and movies but you never play them. I think you should start to play them more and stop showing the same 3-4 shows through out the entire day. Tv is a big influence for younger viewers and disney needs to step up it's game here.
