This is the first online complaint I've ever written, but I believe that this company should be exposed. I purchased an upscale condo in November with DirecPath as the service provider for Phone and Internet and a contractor for DirecTV. The first problem was in establishing service through an outsourced call center. It was immediately obvious that the people on the phone were in another country. Why would a company whose customer base and corporate headquarters is in the United States out source their call center to Cambodia or Indonesia... Or wherever they are? They speak English but it is very difficult to communicate with someone reading a script and who can't seem to deviate from it in order to answer questions. Additionally I've been waiting for two months to have my previous telephone number ported. And last week to add insult to injury my satelitte service went out on both boxes for no apparent reason the Tuesday before Christmas. I had to wait 6 days for a service call. The tech came out fixed the problem and it worked for 1 hour. When I called them back they scheduled me for another service call for next week on a Monday. I can't take another day off work. I was ready to cancel all services but DirecTV is giving me over $100 in credits to compensate for DirecPath's inferior service in order to keep my business. This sucks, honestly I don't expect anything better in the future from them, but I'm giving them one more chance on behalf of DirecTV.
