The new building I'm moving to is contracted with TWC. I looked inline and after selecting, I'm at 109.00 before taxes for cable and the lowest speed Internet for 2 tvs. I am one person, not a family taking advantage of the service.
At any rate, if you call in for assistance, you cannot get the same price and there's absolutely no negotiation or price matching although they offer America's best tv phone cable bundle guarantee. Apparently, after asking, that means they may give you a pre paid Visa card to come back if you used them before. I was an optimum/cablevision customer and they offer phone, Internet (at a better speed) and tv for 99.00 two boxes included, no comparison. I also let them know after a year that the cost was a lot for me and they extended my pricing as a courtesy - Way to go optimum/cablevision.
I asked what constituted the higher price for less - no phone, and less speed. They didn't have an answer. I tried 3-4 times online to place my own order for service and equipment and I was cut off from the site early, so had to type repeatedly.
TWC contracts with certain buildings at a deal for themselves, not the customer, the offerings are very over priced for a lot less than CableVision/Optimum Online
