I am the wife of a current installer out of the Grain Valley, Mo office. I hate Dish!!! If I could find a direct number into the branch office I would call and make sure they know my name! They claim to be everything they are not. We are a new family, currently growing by the day. My husband was lied to from the start, they told him the pay was good, wonderful chances to move up in the company... Fast! Great insurance and rates... Blah blah blah. Said 4- 10 hr days with 3 days off... Exactly what a man with a young family would go for right... DON'T BUY THE LIES!!! He does work 4 days a week but no where near 10 hr days. He is gone by 6:30am and home well after 9:30pm and that's on a good night. We never see him at all on most nights. Our young son thinks dad has left us! To top this off the pay is terrible for these kind of hours, they send him out with crappy units like hoppers and joeys and you can't convince me they don't know these units are shit! I think they send out damaged units in order to get the $ for trouble calls. They make the installers try to sell/upgrade on the spot with every customer and if the installer doesn't report sales every week they are brought in for review and wont get a pay raise. There is nothing good about this place period. If your single and needing a job go for it but wish any life you may want goodbye! If your married or in a relationship you better hope it's a strong one or else you will have to kiss it goodbye as well! Dish if about dish and dish only!!! Oh and the shitty ass pep talks the managers of the Grain Valley branch like to give the new installers " things wont always be this way" " It's just a bad day " Total crock of shit and they all know it. These are the normal days and these days wont change one bit, if any change they only get worse aka: longer by the hour!!!
