Unwilling to retain customers - CABLE, INTERNET AND HOME PHONE BUNDLE

We have had Charter for 14 years. We had a 2 year package. Well now the package is expiring, so I called. They want to increase our rates by 50.00 a month and then charge me to come out and change a modem, 50.00 for a 5 minute visit.
I called 3 times and am told oh well, this is what it is, either pay or loose it. Unbelieveable. So we will have a tech come out and pick up a TON of equipment in March and go to AT&T as they care so little.
I am amazed, what a joke, I have to agree with all the other customers, absolutely horrible service. WHy stay when I go to AT@T for the same money, same services and get 200.00 in a visa card? Answer is easy, bye, by
