AVIS Left Me Stranded in Buffalo NY

I reserved a car online from AVIS... And I thought I supplied dates in October. When I arrived at the Buffalo NY airport Saturday October 8th and I pulled out my reservation, I noticed my dates had September dates. I realized how I screwed up and I asked the representative (CLYFF) to help me since I had an honest reservation but screwed up the dates. Now, mind you, I listened to his transaction prior to mine as he was "upselling" two women into a mid sized car. He informed me there was nothing he could do for me. I told him that he obviously had additional cars and if he could help me and not leave me stranded. His response was that he only have so many cars. Yes, I was left stranded at the Buffalo NY airport by AVIS. Next, I call the AVIS corporate only to find out that they would set me up with an immediate reservation at the Buffalo NY airport for 2 days for $297.00. My reservation was for $60 which I lost (my fault completely) for the wrong dates on my previous reservation. My flight into Buffalo was less than my 2 day car rental price quote... But... Don't forget my boi Clyff said they only had "so many" vehicles. I will NEVER use AVIS again. Customer Service is a serious weak suit for this company. I will enjoy telling this story to anyone renting a car.
