I own a rental vacation property in a nearby lake community. I referred some renters to this hotel because my house was not available for the first night they wanted to stay.
Big mistake! They brought with them a bedbug infestation which cost me $3,000 in extermination, cleaning and lost rentals.in addition, I stayed at the house right after these renters and my arms and face were covered in bites. Luckily I determined what the problem was before I returned home so I was able to avoid bringing them back with me by throwing out my duffle bag and washing everything I had with me.
The manager of the hotel refused to compensate me in any way.
STAY AWAY from this hotel unless you want to get bitten!!
