Although Orbitz charged my flights to Europe in US dollars, the merchant they used to book my flight on Brussels Airlines charged my account in a foreign currency. This means that most any credit card used by us will be charged an additional 3% foreign transaction fee. Of course, when you buy your tickets, there is no mention that you will be charged in a foreign currency. And, of course, they do not take responsibility for this unethical business practice, but will cite an obscure "footnote." There is no transparency of information here, and I consider this to be a totally unethical business practice.
