Intown Suites
Rip-off, false information!

My family and I made a huge mistake choosing to stay at the Intown Suites. I am now seven months pregnant and when we checked in I was told that they only had one available room with two beds and it was on the third floor. After the first night of attempting to climb the three flights of stairs, I requested to move to another room - any size, as long as it ws on the bottom floor. To my surprise later I found out that they do in fact have an elevator, but do not choose to operate it.

I was told that I would have to stay in that room because Intown Suites has a policy and you cannot move to another room... Besides they do not have another room with two beds in it—. I was told again that they had no rooms with two beds. When I complained and expressed my discontentment of the poor customer service relaying that I lost my previous child in March of the clerk seemed a little more empathetic.

I climbed the stairs once again and my husband and I decided we would relocate on the following day for the sake of our unborn child. When we were packing, I recived a knock at the door from the security guard with a key in hand, requesting that I call the clerk at the front office. I was told by the clerk that I could move to the first floor because he did have a room but could not allow me to stay in it, just in case the owner came in town.

I was angry because he lied to me and my husband was extremely disgruntled when he found out that they had the first floor room available yesterday when we requested to be on the first floor due to the difficult pregnancy we were dealing with. My husband was ready to leave at that time, but I informed him that the clerk told me we would, under no circumstances be given any refund back if we elected to leave.

—More surprising, when we informed them that we were moving Intown Suites refused to give us our deposit back, stating that sheets were soiled and towels were damaged. I requested to know why I was only now being informed of this and if there were damages or stains that would prevent Intown Suites from using the linen, then I would like to have been notified at the time they stated that they came from my room. To my surprise I have learned that this is a tactic and practice that they use to keep your money, which is why they make you pay almost a $100.00 deposit before you get they key.intown Suites will soon be facing many lawsuits. BEWARE of this company!
