We installed GE Profile appliances in our new home in 2008 and it has been a huge mistake. The dishwasher upper rack doesn't pull in and out smoothly and after numerous repair attempts and being told in so many words that it can't be fixed. We gave up. Am looking forward to it not working at all so I can replace it with a different brand.
Our refrigerator is basically a piece of junk - we've already had to replace the ice maker left guide arm and the expensive drive cup. We have duct tape holding one of the refrigerator door shelf pieces that broke and cable ties holding a freezer drawer together. These appliances are extremely poor quality - made with easily breakable plastic parts. We don't have kids - so that's not the problem (kids being rough on things).
