I planned a 3 day quick getaway down to Florida from New York. I went on line & booked a 2 nite stay at THE HOLIDAY INN MELBOURNED OCANFRONT IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA for 2 nites at a rate of $86.40usd per nite on April 22nd.
My stay was to be for May 19th & 20th alomost a month in advance I paid & booked the hotel. Well today I was given unfortunate news that there has been a death in my family & the memorial is taking place those days. I immediately contacted the airline to which the gave me a credit good for 1 year I then contacted the THE HOLIDAY INN MELBOURNED OCANFRONT IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA & spoke to ROSANNA POTTER manager of the THE HOLIDAY INN MELBOURNED OCANFRONT IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA & she informed me I was NOT ENTITLED TO MY MONEY BACK NOR A HOTEL CREDIT., I have not even taken the trip its almost 3 weeks away, ample time for THE HOLIDAY INN MELBOURNED OCANFRONT IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA to replace my booking.
I am disputing the charges on my credit card as I dont feel I need to pay for 2 nites at THE HOLIDAY INN MELBOURNED OCANFRONT IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA when I havent arrived nor plan on it at the dates I orgionally planned to go. I even asked ROSANNA POTTER if she would issue me a credit for the 2 nites as I frequent florida a few tmes a year & I would stay there but she flat out said NO, I feel this is unfair as I did give THE HOLIDAY INN MELBOURNED OCANFRONT IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA enough time in advance on booking as well as cancel, I didnt think such a huge hotelchain would be in dire need of my money I want my money back
