We were on 6-Day New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, Boston Standard Quality Tour (with airport transfer)
Beware of:
*Totally rude & arrogant Tour Guide:
At night, we went in our room and couldn't find our passports... So we wanted check if we left it in the bus... So we called our guide, named Sky, and explained him the situation and litterally begged him to ask driver to come so we can check the bus for our passports... He stopped picking our phone after 3-4 calls saying driver is not picking the phone... Then we were left wih no choice, so went to the hotel authority and went to the driver's room and hotel manager said that "If u dont return their passports, I will have to call the cops as it is federal issue" on this guide said rudely, "thank u" to me... Came back in 1 minute and said"driver is waiting for us in the lobby"... This time driver picked up the phone in a minute...
*Collect tips early:
Our guide collected tips on the 2nd day of the tour which he was not suppose to, now he could be as rude as possible with people...
* Not a kid friendly tour:
My 1.5yr old lost his shoe... I couldn't have breakfast, as I was searching for his shoe and I was 5minutes late... Our tour guide, named SKY, said rudely "thank u" and on the top of that there was old chinese lady shouted "Shame on u, Shame on u"... At that very moment I was shocked and couldnt reply but later I told that old bitch " Who the hell are u to say anything to me? And did u even ask what happened? Why I was late? I wasn't late because I was having breakfast or getting pictures..."...
In the whole bus (50 people), we could only find 4chinese people who were friendly, 3 people from australia, 4girls from russia who were consirederate of other people... Otherwise everybody was mean and selfish to travel with...
*Tasteless Chinese Buffets:
I am a vegetarian and my husband eat non-Veg food, we both found the food to be pathetic... They leave u in the China Town for breakfast / lunch / Dinner wherever they find one... Otherwise they will take u a chinese buffet...$20/head... We ate 2 times then asked the tour guide where is our hotel where we are staying, and then we searched a good restaurant near our hotel and ate there... Chinese buffet is horrible... GOD!
I strongly want to complaint about the Tour Guide, named 'Sky' (short and fat), for being rude, collecting earlier then the tour ended, being inconsiderate about the situation for lost passports...
