I arranged an area in Econolodge (Niagara falls-US) for that memorial day weekend. Only one evening before our planned starting, my 2 yr-old boy fell ill (temperature and coughing). We believed he'd be okay by next day... But next day his situation worsen. I chose to stop the journey and named Econolodge to stop the reservation. To my shock, the GM of resort Mr. BS Patel, claims he might nevertheless cost me simply because they possess a 48 hours notice contract. Mr, Patel doesn't realize that the problems (especially of the 2 yr-old) aren't foreseeable under any collection schedule. He certainly should return the cash but proposes he wont.
