I've been contacting several people in corporate office back in 2009 early october-dec asking if they can extend my expired Shell Vacations Explorer (Member#CAEX06213400) which I purchased $1500 more than 1.5 years ago and everybody keeps giving me run around so far I could not get anyone to reponse to my request of extending my membership. I explain to them that I was sick during 2008 and was not able to travel due to back injury I occurred during my car accident and my doctor request me to stay home rest until my injured back recovered. For that reason, I was not able to travel during 2008 which my Shell Vactions Explorer expired. Now I am better and try to use this travel program which I purchased $1500 which is lots of money to waste not able to use. I finally got hold of one of representative and talk with one of representative and she told me to go back to original place where I purchased the Shell Vacation to get my extensions and she told me that I should not have any problem extending my expired Shell Vacation Explorer since I've been sick and not able to travel at the time it expired. So I went to Crown Hotel located: Shell Vacation Club - Garden Grove Sales Center 12021 Harbor Blvd. Sales Center Tel: 714.867.5300 Garden Grove, CA 92840. I called first for several times and phone keeps ringining and ring, I was not able to leave messages, they did not have any message box. Next day (1-4) I drove up there and they told me that manager who is responsible for Shell Vacation Club Explorer is not available and told me that he comes in Wed-Sat. I came back to see the manager on Thursday and they told me that he's not available and not there. I told guy that I drove here twice waste my gas and I won't leave until I meet with manager so another guy came in ask me what's my issue was and I explain to them that I contacted the corporate office and they told me to come here to extend my vacation club package which I paid $1500. That person I talked took my membership card and told me that I should wait that he would check with somebody there and will get back to me. So I waited at office 30 minutes and he came back with answer that I should go to website http://www.shellvacationsclub.com / and click on Contact Us and report the complain there. So this is like third time, I get run around from them... First I contacted corporate office which she told me I should come to place where I purcahsed vacation package to extend my expired membership which I was not able to use on 2008. Then I called before I drove up to office. Phone keeps rings nobody pickup then I drove up twice and still gave me excuse. I am not getting anyway.in either case I went to website complaint and told them... If they don't reply within 5 days I'll file small claims court and had not heard back from yet.in detail this is what I said when I went to website and click Contact Us:
"If you can not extend my request then I suggest you refund my money or I'll initiate local court filing to file small claims court to sue your company. If I don't hear from you next 5 days... I'll go ahead file legal law suit against your company. I would appreciated if you don't give me anymore run around and be very serious with me."
I paid too much money to let waste my money $1500 which I paid and not able to use at all. This is big big rip off company. One day they told me this and another day they tell me different story. Even after I submited the complaints on website about my expired shell vacation package, I still did not hear from back from them yet.
Please let me know what I need to do. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
