As with many others reporting this company I am getting the sunshine treatment. (Park it in the sunshine and maybe it will go away). They promised refunds based on purchases (rebates in the form of a visa card). Now that I have submitted my info and waited y required time I get an e-mail saying that the company they were using to process these went out of business and so they have stepped in to handle the rebates. Guess what? They have been overwhelmed and cannot process the rebates in the timeframe that was originally given. But not to fret. Give up your claim to the Visa card rebate and they will give you a free gift book for $500 in discounts at different merchants of a Travel discount book that contains travel discounts of up to $15000.
The catch is that most of the merchants in the gift book are not in my area and the discounts are relatively small. The travel book discounts are basically a buy one get one free so they make additional money on the purchase. Not a bad bait and switch scheme.
If you want the Visa cards as initally promised you will have to wait an additional 12-16 weeks but you will eventually receive them, or so they claim.
The Visa cards would obviously have to come from there funds verses the other 2 options which would cost them nothing.
