After receiving a phone call offering a free trip for listening to a sales presentation, we went to the Sun Counrty Travel sales office in Houston, TX.
We were they only persons there and were pressured for over 3 hours. After many promises of the special rates on Hotels, Condos for $199.00 per week and free trips, we relented and purchased the travel package. Needless to say there are not $199 per week condos or discounts on hotel rates. The rates we were offered were higher than we could reserve by calling the hotel.
Many of the hotels we called that were listed as part of the plan, never heard of them. There was no free cruise, many restrictions and a fee of $100. We have written to the company requesting a refund and were refused. We have filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General. If they call you, don't go, it is a ripoff.
