Okay so this last weekend I attended a sporting event called in my home town. I entered a draw to win a cruise for 2 to the bahamas. I recieved a phone call this morning from someone claiming that I had won! I was super stoked and couldnt believe my luck, at first i was a little sketchy about it but it seemed legit being a draw and the rep sounded knowledgeable. I was then told that i had to pay 299 per person because it was a promotional package as the rebutter mentioned. Sure no big deal 600 dollars for me and a friend to go on a cruise! I gave them my credit card info (bad choice, i know and I feel so stupid for it now) and they charged the money to my credit card. I did some research and some people are saying its just a rip off, that it ends up costing alot. But i also read that it won best new bahamas cruise 2009 from porthole magazine, which is not true. So i'm starting to believe this is a scam. I'm going to call first thing tomorrow morning and demand my money back and hopefully it works. If this has happened to anyone else on here HELP please, i'm a student moving out of town and i can not afford to lose 600 dollars!
