April my wife and I met Zack in Dallas Texas motel and arranged for Timeshare rescue to purchase our Broadway Plantation timeshare in Myrtle Beach, S.C. For 2600.00. They took my credit card on American Express and stated within 60 days the property would be reassigned to them and Zack stated not to pay the maintenance fee, it would be paid by them at closing. I have contacted them by phone and talked with Antoinella McNeil and she kept giving me the excuse of it is filed and waiting for Horray County to finish. I have been told this for about 6 months now and the maintenance fee has gone deliquent and a collection firm has now started calling and put the past due fee on my credit along with a lien on paid in full timeshare, prior to interaction with Timeshare rescue being involved.
I have reported this firm to BBB and it appears about 200 others have also, since BBB removed them from the site due to "F" rating. Also, I have reported them to the Attorney General's office in Texas and no response from them yet. I hope that others read what "scam" they are and do not get involved with their firm. I have tried calling and to no avail and get the same song and dance from the number in Denver, Colorado. They seem to blame everyone except taking responsibility. My next step is contacting American Express and having the charges reversed or atleast flagged so they can not use American Express for purposes like this scam. They are pretty slick and take advantage of others who would just like to get out from under a timeshare. Keep this in mind when you hear or see Timeshare rescue. They sent a mailer and we responded, so don't get caught in the web as we were.
