This company has placed many phone calls to invite us for presentation. After receiving tons of phone calls, my husband finally gave in and scheduled an appointment. I've experienced how difficult it is to use those free hotel nights certificate. On top of it, I already have the rest of the year vacation time planned out. I don't have time to utilize those free hotel nights. I called Global Travel to cancel our appointment the next day and explained we are not interested in any presentation at this point. I don't remember whom I talked to. This was 2 weeks ago. I did received phone call from Global Travel after that and I refused to go for any presentation.
Then, I just received a phone call from Global Travel. The lady told me that "Richard" rescheduled us which we've never agreed and don't even know when this "Richard" put us down. I told the lady that I already called to cancel the appointment prior to original schedule and didn't reschedule. She was yelling something about they already paid for the package and whatever. I replied, we've never been there, never got any certificate or anything from them. Then she said, "Okay, we will just send you the bill" and hang up.
Too bad I didn't capture this lady's name. My next step is to call Global Travel Group back and request them to remove our name from their list. I am considering filing report to BBB. If they dare to send me bill, I am willing to take the case to court house as well.
