This has been the most exasperating experience of my life. I needed to renew my passport for a trip to Mexico so I completed the online application for RushMyPassport (RMyP) and payed with my DEBITcard ($10 discount for debit not credit card) I received the Federal Express shipping label; I hurried and got my passport pictures made, gathered all the required documents, drove to the next town and flagged down the Fed Ex driver. My husband was driving while I put everything in the envelope. The next afternoon my RMyP case representative called and said my pictures were not in the envelope and I needed to send them. That was impossible since I was in the car when I stuffed the Fed Ex envelope and they were not anywhere to be found! I re-sent the pictures to the handler in Washington, DC and did not hear anything again for several days. I became worried after 3 business days and called the lady back to inquire about the status of my passport. She did not return my calls/emails/chat messages/messages left with other staff. I was livid because I could not speak to anyone who could help me. When I finally talked to the representative she told me she would see if she could find my passport; this really freaked me out since my flight was leaving in 2 days. She finally called back the next day and said it should be sent the next day and. I had no other choice but to cancell my trip. My passport arrived the next week and I filed a refund request; my request was granted... Then when I didn't get the money put back into my account I called and was told my RMyP rep no longer worked there. I inquired about the refund and was sent an email that it had been granted in ERROR, so I would not be getting my money back. This went on for a week and then I gave up on them; I had my bank reverse the transaction and had to close my debit account. WHAT A MESS! I do NOT recommend these people because they lie and cheat and do not return your calls or emails. Thank you for allowing me to share my story and I hope it saves someone else grief and expense.
