I went to their presentation on Oct. 2. I turned down their timeshare offer and was ready to leave when they told me they had a 'special' for people like me. Then they told me that for $1995 they would be MY special travel agent. I told them that I had a travel agent & they asked if she gave me free trips and gas cards. I said "Of course not." And they told me that they would. So I sat back down to listen to what they had to say.
I was told that I would get a $25 rebate for every $100 worth of gas receipts I sent in. I have sent in the receipts three times and have yet to see a $25 gas card.
I was told that I would get a 4 day/3night flight and hotel stay to anywhere in the US for two people. Well, my sister & I are wanting to go to New York City, so I figured the free trip for two to NYC and the free gas made it worth it. So, I signed up and was told that I would receive my packet of goodies in the mail.
I did receive a card from Sealand Travel and a form to fill out from Millennium Travel & Promotions. I was to pick a date and three cities I would like to visit and send the form (plus $100) back to Millennium Travel & Promotions; which I did. I then received a letter from Millennium saying nothing was available on the date I chose, so pick another date, which I did.
I then got another letter from Millenium saying to call and set up arrangements for my trip. So I called them and they asked for the names of the people taking the trip and I gave them my name and my sister's. They asked if we were a couple and I said no, Becky's my sister. I was then told that the trip was only for couples. I have been divorced for 30 years and this was not stated in their sales pitch. That is discrimination! I want my money back, plus $2000 for the insult to my integrity.
