My husband and I were sucked into this "vacation package" scam over the phone, but after a few minutes of research using the "complaint" info, realized what had happened. Within the first 30 minutes called to cancel with this business.
We were told over the phone, no refunds were given. But thanks to the info provided by your website, I was able to contact the Florida Department of Consumer Services and file an official compliant. They began an informal mediation process and I also sent a request in writing to RPR (by registered mail/requires sig.) for a refund.
Just yesterday we recieved a refund for $698!!! Hang in there and be persistent, it can be done!!!
