I want to start by saying thank you all for making these kinds of sights for me and other consumers like me, thinking that there are still great deals out there. I was sent the welcome to heaven/hell travel tickets on 12/17/08 and called them that night.
I read every last little character on the tickets and called them. It sounded to good to be true and the even called my fiance on a three way call. I wanted to use the bonus trip to mexico as our honeymoon and save some money. Two and a half hours later we got them to drop the 798 to 598 and have all the meals paid for on land and sea.
I have been down a road like this before with Continental Warranty (another scam artist) and asked every question imaginable. I made sure that sales agent and upper management said that if i didn't like what I saw in writing I could get a full refund no problem.
I'm not waiting to recieve the packet; I saw this God Send website and called them on 12/22/08. They said I could get my money back if i went on the cruise. They were baffled that anyone could have anything negative to say about their operation. I said I wanted no dealings with a business that made their customers beg for their money back.
After keeping composure and going from asking nicely to quoting Texas law about sales and services I was put on hold twice for five minutes each and was given a cancellation code. If this was a ploy to get me off the hook or not I have no idea yet. But I will post it either way.
So stay the course my brothers and sisters in swamboozle. Don't get irate and if they say they are the highest up you can talk to, then just say you are the one who can give me the reimbursement.
