I received a phone call from Ramada Plaza Resorts. I said no I'm not interested. The phone rings again. This time it is the person that just called supervisor. He said "What if I told you I will pay for your air fare, or gas should you choose to drive"?
I told him I have a broken spine, and that I wouldn't be able to drive. So he said, "ok then will you go now"? Now I'm into this trip 2200.00. I lost 378.00, because I paid for my supposed companions flight seat with my credit card. This supposed companion for reasons unknown to me tells me on February 9th that he does not want to go.
I made my flight reservations on Jan. 03. My 15 year old son and my vacation to Ft. Lauderdale/Orlando is scheduled for April 06 thru the 13th of April. The airlines will refund the remaining ticket money only to the person the ticket is made out to not the person that purchased it with my credit card. I needed a companion to help me because of my physical disability.
I have a morphine pump inside of my body. This trip has done nothing but cost money that I was told I wouldn't have to spend. This trip is for my son. So I have borrowed more money so that we can go. I did beat their travel agent quote by 438.00.
