Over the years I have stayed at many Hilton Inns but never again. I had specified there would be myself, wife, and ten-year-old daughter. When we arrived the room was not ready so I took another room with one king size bed and the assurance a roll away would be sent post haste. We never got a roll away because Mike Fatta, the manager, stated that all roll aways were being used for a soccer team. To cut to the chase, we had planned on staying 11/28-11/30 on a mini vacation. After a miserable night of trying to sleep three in a bed and on the floor, we left. Mr. Fatta stated to me, "You get what you pay for"-we had used Hotwire.com. We were treated as "less thans" because we were saving money? In this economy I think not. Mr. Fatta was rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. Hotwire tried to deal with him also. The Hotwire agent stated, " That man"-Mr. Fatta-"is in the wrong business." Obviously, Mr. Fatta was also noxious to Hotwire agents. The point is that we will never stay in a Hilton again-too many good hotels out there with people friendly management. Sincerely, Rodney W. Field and Family
