Travel Certificate Scam

Letter mailed to Millennium Travel Customer Service and cc'd: Director of Customer Service & Westgate Resorts

Dear Director of Customer Service:

Enclosed you will find yet another signed verification letter required by you from me. This one requires the name of my local airports (information that as a travel vendor you should have easy access to), me to verify if I would like to enhance my accommodations (something I would have requested had I had any interest in it or that could have very easily been included in previous mailings) and for our birthdates (again information that could have easily been requested before this point).

This one however comes with a caveat that I mail it within 7 days to continue processing my request even if no options are taken in order to continue processing my travel request. Seven days of what may I ask? You did not specify. Currently, it is 1 day from my receipt of yet another letter from you, so I think I'll go with that.

What is the rush exactly? Surely, you are aware that 1st class mail going from one state to another takes best case scenario 3 days to arrive and 3 days to be returned under the best of circumstances. Surely you are aware that this city is still recovering from a major hurricane Ike (perhaps you've heard of it). Surely, you realize that people have other obligations aside from answering your endless tide of letters and that people do sometimes travel. Yes, even without the help of Millennium Travel (insert gasp here). I mean aside from this being some poorly executed and badly written attempt to give yourself a loophole in not honoring my travel certificate that is.

To date, I have sent you four signed letters all of which I have maintained copies of. Four is enough. You will honor my certificate and you will do it with a virtual smile on your face. If you are not able, perhaps The Florida Better Business Bureau (http://www.orlando. BBB.org/complaints/commoncomplaint.html), the Office of the Attorney General of Florida's Consumer Complaint Division (http://myfloridalegal.com/pages. Nsf/Main/030e31f06ef0184d85256cc600706904), the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce (http://www.daytonachamber.com/), any one of the many organizations whose logos appear on the bottom of your web page (http://www.mtapromotions.com/contact.php) or even the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (http://www.doacs. State. Fl.Us/onestop/cs/travel.html) can help you to make better choices.

I would also advise you to review and revise such shameless and transparent tactics and for your company's future viability, refrain from their use altogether.

Please feel free to contact me if you require any additional information or assistance. Any phone calls made to me will be recorded. I am also forwarding a copy of this letter to the resort that issued the certificate so that they may be aware of the treatment their prospective clients receive at the hands of your company.

I look forward to enjoying a very nice and well accommodated vacation to one of the three locations I chose, departing on one of the three dates issued to you with no further issues.
