Take me on vacation is a total ripoff. I was contacted a year and a half after entering my name in one of those contest boxes at a outside event in our area.
On December 23, I was contacted by one of their representatives and got caught up and confimed receipt of package by doing an over the phone check draft.
Later that same afternoon, I thought about this and decided this is not what I wanted nor needed and contacted a Mr. Levester at extension 5144 and cancelled the package for $198.00.
I was informed by the man that the transaction would not go through since I am cancelling this now. On December 24, TakemeonVacation had the amount processed and withdrawn from my account per verification from my bank. Upon contacting the customer service department in request to receiving the funds back into my account, I was informed that it would take approximately 1 week to have the funds returned to me when it only took them 1 day to receive.
When asking to speak to a supervisor of CEO etc... You just keep getting the run around that no one is in or they are on vacation.
I inquired who the CEO's name was so that I may write a formal complaint against the company and the "customer service reps" (term used loosely!), I was informed that all correspondence goes through the Director first.in other words, the letters of complaints are screened.
