One 11/07/07 we booked a Hawaiian vacation for August 4th and gave a $500.00 deposit to the Visitor Center. On April 28 we paid the balance in full, a total of $5539.50 as per their request to prevent a fuel surcharge. On July 22 I e-mailed them showing my concern for not receiving my travel documents. An e-mail was sent to me, to expect the documents one week prior to the trip. Today, July 28th I received an e-mail from them telling me that they can no longer bear increased cost and can not give us contracted services.
This has been a horrifying and destroying of emotions for me and my husband. This trip was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It cost us an economic set back since we had to pay the trip in full, since our trip is within 6 days, to their wholesaler Blue Sky Tours, because they claimed that the Visitor Center never paid them for my trip, since our trip is within 6 days. Please be informed that I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, which if they shall decide to reimburse me it will take anywhere from 45-90 days. This is an unethical way to run a bussiness.
