I chose this hotel due to positive experiences with Days Inn in the past and because I could have a microwave and refrigerator in my room, which I needed for my baby who was with me.
I booked a nonsmoking room for two nights (6/19/08-6/20/08) at this hotel for 79.99 tax on Hotwire.
The problems began at check in. They had assigned me a smoking room. When I complained, they did reassign me.
I requested a refrigerator, as I needed to refrigerate the baby's milk. They did not have a refrigerator available, although a sign in the lobby says they are available upon request and this is a reason I chose this hotel.
When I reached the room, I could not believe the poor quality I saw. The curtains had several holes in them. The bed was bouncy and offered very little support. The room was on the first floor and looked out on a busy street. There was minimal security on the window. This room was not suitable for a baby.
I returned to the desk to be assigned to a different room. They told me nothing was available.
I cannot believe I am paying more than $80 per night for less quality than I could get paying $40 at Motel 6 in the same area.
I will definitely avoid having to staying here again and I will be very cautious about future stays at the Days Inn and the other brands affiliated with them.
