My twelve year old daughter got a letter saying she won a cruise and 40,000.00 dollars. I called the number and they told me some info that sounded strange. They told me the check was forpaying the taxes and processing fees and even though she was just twelve to put the check in my bank account and call back for step two.
I called the community bank of texas and asked if they had a branch in Praire (which was spelled wrong on the check) they said no. Then I called the Imperial Majesty Cruise line and they said they didn't even have a flagship called the MV Regal Express.
I called Amanda Johnson (claims Agent) back and told her this info and told her this was a scam.
The check looks real, the letter looks real too. It is signed by a steve robins account manage
