This company is really not forthcoming in their advertisements on shore and aboard cruise ships. The boat stays tied to the dock and provides escorted short tours while trying to sell frozen king crab to be shipped at a later date.
While the crab is good, the nebulous advertising of a tour aboard a Bering sea crabber seems to lead to the expectation of a real trip on a crab boat.
There are other tours providing that experience, but those as well rarely see a king crab in Southeast Alaska waters, and for sure cannot keep them as only sportfishing for the species is allowed in SE waters.
