Jean Michel Vannier promised us the wedding of our dreams in Hawaii. He set our party up on a payment plan, because we did not have all of the money for the trip. I was in school at the time and we were living solely off my husband's income, so the payment plan was very convenient.
We were scheduled to get married in Hawaii in February.By early December Jean Michel was fully paid by our party. For months we had been requesting confirmation numbers and other proof of reservations, which he always had an excuse and failed to provide.By late December I found out that Continental Airlines had not received our money for the booking. When I questioned Jean Michel about this, he immediately started screaming at me and telling me "How dare you check up on me". If he was doing his job, I would not have to check up on him.
After this call, I had enough of his excuses of why he couldn't provide any confirmation numbers, so I reported him to the Better Business Bureau. At this point he was out of town, and when he returned he found out I reported him to the BBB. Jean Michel then called my husband to inform him that since I filed a complaint on him he was not going to pay for our trip to Hawaii, nor was he going to return any of our money. If you are thinking about doing business with him, DON'T!!! I am not the only case. I know of 2 other couples he has ripped off.
