We fell for an offer for a Time Share with Star Resort which is now called Harbor Resort Management. We purchased a "trial" time share to be paid for monthly. It has been over a year and we have not yet received our "member number" or catalog.
I have 20 pages of documentation of phone calls. I have contacted Highland Credit Corp, which is the company that financed the loan. I have also contacted the Southern Nevada BBB, and the Nevada Consumer Affairs Division, both of which have had no success in contacting Harbor Resort Management. The phone calls are not answered.
I also contacted RCI, and was told after research, that Harbor Resort Management has no affiliation with RCI. Yet they claim to be offering time shares with RCI. Doesn't this mean FRAUD?
I am now in the process of sending my documentation to the Merrillville Chamber of Commerce (the city where the temporary office was set up), the Nevada Attorney General, the Indiana Attorney General, the Indiana Consumer Protection Division, our local newpaper, and local TV stations.
I continue to make payments, in order to protect our credit rating.
I am very angry at the fraudulent, cheating, stealing of our money, and will not stop reporting this to anyone that I can think of.
