This company contacted me 2 years ago offering me the chance of a life time of a cut price vacation to Florida this came under the guys of the launch of a new and inovative company for which I would be handsomly rewarded for giving feed back on my stay with them.
During the conversation they managed to convince me to give them my credit card details which they would later use to fraudulantly remove funds from my account. At the end of the conversation I informed them that I would not take them up on the offer as I could not afford the 500 deposit they were looking for.
As I was worried about having given over my account details I contacted my credit card company to tell them to stop any request from this company for payment only to discover that they had beaten me to it and removed the full amount from my account, I attempted to contact the company direct but was passed from piller to post and as the company was in the US I had no one to turn to, as a result I put it all down to experience vowing never to be duped again.
However in January of this year I was contacted by this company again not this tme to sell me a holiday but to return the money they had taken as they could see that I had not taken the holiday, of course I was very suspicious of this approach but the gentleman (Steve Carter) on the phone said he could see that I was unhappy and that it is in hs company's best interest to see that I am refunded any money for the holiday I had not had.
Of course to do this he required my account details to transfer the money back to my credit card and after reassuring me that his intentions were indeed honourable I gave him the information he required
To my horror just 24 hours later I discover that this company had not put funds back into my account they had taken another 100 pounds out I have since put a freeze on this account to prevent further breaches of this kind and have been unable to make contact with this company since
I wonder how many more unsuspecting law abiding citiziens in the UK have been duped by this smooth talking lie telling fraudster
