I recieved a call from Travel Agents Direct. The company claimed something about 2 400 dollar travel vouchers and having to do nothing to give them.
Very soon he was asking me very personal questions, like my bank routing number and bank branch, city I grew up in. Claiming that all these were very normal questions, and giving them out was just verifying public knowledge.
Anyways the guy had a script and it sounded as if someone was feeding him lines right next to him as well as many folks were giving the exact same script in the same room. Sounds as if their doing good business. He kept asking me to verify my routing number, and I kept refusing and after about the tenth time I had searched out enough info to verify this was a scam.
