On the 28th of January i went to a bridal show in louisville, ky and there was a company called Simply Gourmet there as a vendor and they were registering couples for a drawing for a free all inclusive 3 day, 2 night vacation. My fiance and i registered and won, along with several other couples.
On January 28th we were told that in order to pick up our info for the free vaca, we had to go to a show they were putting on for waterless cookware, basically we sit and watch the show for 1 1/2 hours and then get our brochures and such. Well, the vaca is through the Integra marketing group and they said the way it worked is we send in our money ($49.95 per person) to Integra Marketing Group, Inc. Attn: all inclusive vacation 7020 professional parkway east, suite A sarasota, Fl 34240 and then a few weeks later we should receive our honeymoon/vaca package with a phone number to call to set up our travel plans and choose from one of the 7 vaca locations.
My fiance and i thought it was a little fishy to send in almost $100 without any communication from the actual company so i decided to do a little research and found this website with quite a few horrific stories of this company ripping people off and i was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience like this. I have read the other stories where people received stuff in the mail and about the MVI company and somethings about Integra, but not a lot about Integra by itself or cooking shows. I have noticed that the addresses for MVI and Integra are the same on a few people's reports, but if anyone has any more info about similar situations or anything, i would appreciate any feedback!
