Spirit Incentives - Insulting and Rude Personnel Not Interested in Awarding Travel - Incentive to Waste time Ripoff

I sure wish I had read the Rip-off-Report before sending in my so called Travel Voucher that I received from viewing property at Westwood Lakes in Conroe Texas. Our experience was that we received the voucher early in November. We mailed the voucher along with our $100 check and three travel dates on a form that was printed off of their web site. Per their documentation these dates were minimum 60-days out.

The dates were 1/13/07,2/10/07 & 11/3/07 with the certificate date and postmark date being 11/11/06 and 11/12/06 respectfully. One of the requirements was that the dates be a minimum of 30-days apart. On 12/12/06 we received in the mail a blank travel voucher as if we didn't even send one in. We called the office and asked why we were sent a blank travel request and that they confirmed receipt of the travel voucher in their office on 11/18/06 and they had no record of receiving our travel date request form and it was impossible that we could have sent one in since they only send them out when they receive payment and a travel voucher.

We immediately sent out the copy of the original form we sent with a copy of the check on the same piece of paper that we originally sent to them. We called on 12/23/06 to confirm that they had received the copies of the original forms. My wife made this call representative that took the call said to my wife I don't know why you are lying to me about sending the travel request form in to our office but we have no record of it. To make a long story short my wife went ballistic after being called a liar by a customer service representative. She put me on the phone and I asked for a supervisor immediately.

When the supervisor got on the phone I was told that Spirit Incentives has specific procedures and you cannot send in the travel dates with your travel voucher. You must wait to receive the request form before requesting any travel dates. That being said, we received a postcard on 1/12/07 stating the following: 1/3/07 is not 60 days in advance. Well duh 1/12/07 is one day before the cruise left! 2/10/07 is not 30 days from 1/12/07. Hello earth to Spirit you disqualified 1/12/07 so 2/10/07 should be the first date. Then 11/03/07 was ignored since there was only one date because they disqualified the other two dates.

Their rules state that the Travel Vouchers are intended to be used during off peak season. Peak season is defined as March through October. Well since they had been screwing around all of the available dates are gone. They won't accept a form with only one date on it and the form will expire by the time the next round of dates comes around.

My wife and I recently went to view another presentation from another company. While we didn't go for a travel incentive we received one. It was from Spirit Incentives. We promptly threw it in the trash. The moral to this story is that if you are going to a presentation to receive a travel gift. Ask the company if it is from Spirit Incentives. If they won't tell you or if it is then you could go on the presentation only if you are going to genuinely view the presentation or for other gifts. You will not receive the travel that you have been promised. Spirit Incentives is not in the business of giving out travel they are scam artists with their slick ad material but don't be fooled.
