Back in June of I recieved a phone call saying "CONGRATULATIONS! You have won a all expenses paid vacation." Of course, like anyone else, I was "tickled pink", UNTIL the woman on the other end of the line informed me that there was "Only a 1 time charge of $598" to my mastercard. I immediately told her that I was not interested and hung up the phone. She proceeded to call my home 5 more times in a matter of a few minutes, each time being told "You were told no. We are not interested. PLEASE Leave us alone." I never heard anything from them again.
On December 8th I log into my banking account online, only to find a charge for $598, in the name of A1Travel Reservation. Livid, I attempt to contact the company, only to hear "I'm sorry ma'am, we dont handle refunds, you need to contact Alice. I will transfer you." I then contact "Alice" only to recieve a voicemail.
"Alice" finally returns my call, and informs me that she can't help me either. She's only a processing company, and doesnt recieve notification of the payments until AFTER they are posted (72 hours later). Now, I am getting the run around from everyone, and the links on A1Travel Reservations point to this "Funtime Getaway Inc."
I am EXTREMELY upset and want my $598 back. How can I get this back? I never authorized this payment, and don't want this vacation that they proclaim I've won. All I want is my money. Can anyone help me?
