Knights Inn in Roanoke, VA employee yells at US Army officer and doesn't credit TripRewards points! Ripoff

My family and I recently stayed at the Knights Inn in Roanoke, VA. I made my reservations via Expedia prior to traveling. When I went to check out the next morning, I asked for a receipt for the stay, in order to ensure that I have proof in the case that I am wrongly charged by my credit card company. I am one of those few individuals that actually sits down and compares my receipts to the actual credit card bill to ensure total accuracy. I often do find such mistakes, so it pays off. The middle aged Pakastani man beinhd the counter told me "that he was not required to give me a copy of the receipt". When I asked why he could not and informed him that other three hotels I had stayed at in the last two weeks gave me a receipt without hesitation, he began to get angry with me. I explained to him why I wanted it and said it would be a huge help if he could please help me, he remained angry and at one point yelled at me froma cross the counter. We got into a heated verbal discussion and I finally gave up the fight and left without a receipt for my stay. Not not only do I not have a receipt for my stay there, but I recently found out that my TripRewards points were not credited to my account... And I can't fax my receipt to TripRewards because this bitter employee refused to give me my receipt. My next course of action is to send a letter, along with a copy of this complaint, to the Mayor of Roanoke, as well as the Chamber of Commerce for the city. I will also send a letter of complaint to the Roanoke Times stating the displeasure of my family's stay. This hotel has disgusting rooms, toilets that do not flush, and ripped curatins and bedspreads. Not only do their rooms lack cleanliness, but their employees lack professionalism to the point that they act as if this country owes them something. As I am in the military and travel through Roanoke very. Very often, I will never stay here again, and I will recommend to those soldiers I work with (about 3,500 troops) to bypass this hotel as well. I'd rather sleep in my vehicle than stay here, and had I not been with my wife and 4 month old son, I would have chosent to do so! Reconsider your priorities, Rajiv Bhatia, before you run yourself out of business!
