I too, (as well as my family) was extremely appalled and disappointed at the accomodations of the "so called" Ramada Plaza Resort.
When they called me and made the sales pitch I specifically asked them if the rooms were clean at this resort. I was told that I would be so pleased that I would ask to come back again. WRONG!!!
Upon arriving at the welcome center we immediately saw that the so called resort was a one star MOTEL!!! Not a resort at all, not even close to being one. We were told that the "resort" was overbooked and that our new accomodations would be at the Plantation Sawgrass. With much relief we gladly and quickly jumped in our car and proceeded to the Sawgrass Plantation only to find out that is was a two star Bestwestern hotel that had 4 soiled and trashed mattresses in the front entrance by the dumpster. (What a welcome)
While checking in we found the receptionist to be very rude and abrupt due to requesting 2nd floor accomodations over 1st floor accomodations. After checking in we found the carpets to be worned and stained with a stinch. There were also ants on the inside of the door and the drainage was so poor we were forced to take showers in our on backwash.
After the cruise (which was on a Tuesday) we were suppose to come back and stay our last night at the "Ramada Plaza Resort"... Well instead of staying we got off the ship and into our car and headed home. We refused to put ourselves through another night.
I probably would not be so mad but the fact is I paid for something based on facts and promises that were given by them but were not delivered and because of that my family and I suffered. You should be ashamed of yourselves fooling people the way you do.
