I think it should be stated first of all that CENDANT CORP. Owns many travel consolidation sites, and they are to blame for the overall decline in service on many, many sites.
They should be called directly. Don't bother with the "customer service" representatives. I, like many others, was double-billed after going through a hellish ordeal to get the tickets processed. Customer service was so difficult to get ahold of, put my on hold forever and then was absolutely unbelievably stupid. I think Cendant thought it might be a good idea to hire people with severe mental disabilities. If they aren't really really slow, than chances are they won't be able to speak English.
I would really like to find out what is going on with the company. I know they've had some issues lately, recently naming a new CEO: Jeff Clarke. Call cendant if you have a problem with orbitz or cheaptickets.
