I thought I'd received the deal of a lifetime when I "won" a room for four nights at a 4-star hotel in New Orleans through Priceline! After contacting the hotel to confirm double occupancy and get parking info, we were offered a full-sized bed w / a roll-away bed for our two kids. We also learned parking was an additional $30 per night (in a park at your own risk lot-downtown New Orleans) and a compact fridge at $20 per night, adding $200 to our wonderful room deal!
We ended up paying for another hotel. Bottom line, the credit card dispute process doesn't work b/c of Priceline's MICROSCOPIC NO-REFUND DISCLOSURE. This was a $500 lesson (would have been more but we cut our vacation short) - don't become a victim!
PS: No need to even bother naming the Hotel b/c sadly, they are not currently open for business!
