In September I booked a flight on an airlines website. Underneath the total amount was an option to purchase flight insurance from a 3rd party company (Access America). The caption claimed that I could have peace of mind and protect myself from cancellations if I purchased their insurance.
After I bought the insurance I recieved their terms and conditions of the insurance. Later, due to work circumstances, I had to change my flight. I filed a claim for my $100.00 ticket changing fee.
I later recieved a letter from Access America stating they needed more information. I called Access America and was told they could not cover my claim or refund my $12. I personally feel that Drug dealers and hookers have more integrity than Access America, because hookers and drug dealers can provide the service they are paid for, unlike Access America who just rips people off. They failed to provide a service they promised to provide.
Where is my peace of Mind Access America? It's the thought of you being sued until your office is auctioned off piece by piece.
