I am a physician who was duped into getting WORTHLESS Access America travel insurance for a plane flight which my wife and I were unfortunately not able to take because of personal illness.
Despite appropriate documentation, Access America refused to pay my claim. As a physician, I see many patients who need disability / insurance papers filled out, and I understand well what is reasonable and ethical justification for medical disability, trip cancellation, etc. My justifiable, appropriately documented, and quickly submitted claim was denied.
Access America travel insurance is WORTHLESS. They do not stand behind their product and look for reasons to avoid paying reasonable claims. What a TOTAL waste of money.
