To whom it may concern,
On july 5th i received an email from discount travel service concerning a flight i was trying to find airfare overseas. They stated in it that it would be $897.00. So i called them and after talking with them it turned out to be 1146.00 and since that was the average price i went ahead and booked. I gave my debit card info and they took the money out of my acct and i got an email showing my flights were set and comfirmed.
On july 17th i was checking a time on my flights and when i went to the itinerary page it showed my reservations cancelled. So i checked with my bank and it showed they got their money so i called them and got their voicemail. After many messages they called me the next day and told me it was an error and everything was taken care of.
I got my bank statement a few days later and was checking it and found their charge, but also one to northwest airlines for 1436.00 so i contacted them and found out best discount network had called them as if they were me and booked the tickets and gave them my debit card number and security code and all my personal info that i gave them that is supposed to stay with them, not be given out.
So then i called them and asked what the deal was and all they said was they would refund the amount i paid them. And when i asked them why they did it and that i would not have paid them that much since everyone else was between 950 to 1150 for the same flights i would have gone elsewhere. I have all documents to show where they were paid and how it took them till i had called many times to refund the money. I contacted the bbb of carson city and the liars say they told me about the price increase which is a crock of *hit.
I wonder how many people they have screwed and may not even know it and that it why i am posting them on usacomplaints.com for their sorry business ethics. I feel they owe me the difference in the tickets since i was unaware of any increase.
